ALCATRAZ BIOGRAPHIE: Alcatraz is a rap quartet formed in 2004 consisting of 4 MC's : Aker(Jean-Christian Hannouche), the Alchemist(Alexandre Spyropoulos), Trinox(Nikolaos Makryannis) and McH(Ibrahim Jabri). Their aim is to stay faithful to what they consider real Hip-Hop with hardcore instrumentals and socio-politicaly controversial lyrics. Having been brought up within three cultures, the group tries to reflect that by using both languages in their texts and by bringing elements of both societies in their music. Alcatraz aims catharsis through poetry, poetry faithful to what rap music originally is, a message.
